| Big League (ages 13-14) The goal of the Big League is skill development. Participation will be determined by ability in the assessment of the coahes. Teams play against area teams in the Crow River Baseball League of the American Amateur Baseball Congress(AABC) Sandy Koufax "AA" Division. General League rules Bases: 75 feet, pitcher 54 feet. Bats: Meal or wood, maximum diameter 2 3/4 inches. Participation: Each player plays 6 outs prior to the start of the 6th inning. Game: 7 innings, regulation after 5 innings. Time limit: 2 hours 20 minutes. Slaughter rule: 10 runs after 5 innings. Dropped third strike: Batter may advance to first. Batting order: All players bat. Base running: No limitation on leading off, stealing, advancing or scoring. Balks: Called, enforced, and scored. |
