Travel Teams


Tryouts will be held each year for travel teams at ages 10 though 15.  Forming of the teams will be based on player interest and the availability of coaches.  The goal of the travel teams is to provide a more competitive environment for those players with higher levels of ability.  Participation will be determined by ability in the assessment of the coaches.  Teams will participate in practices and a number of weekend tournaments.

Those players not selected for the travel teams will have the option to participate in the in-house leagues. Hutchinson teams play in the Crow River League of the American Amatuer Baseball Congress(AABC)  at the "AAA" Level. The 10yr old team will play in the Willie Mays Division with the 11 & 12 Year olds playing in the Pee Wee Reese Division and the 13 & 14 year olds playing in the Sandy Koufax Division. Starting in 2006 Hutchinson will return to the Mickey Mantle Division with its 15yr old team. Hutchinson has captured State titles in 2000,2001,2002,2003, & 2006
